About Pilgrims~
Pilgrims' Chocolate and Fudge is situated in College Court, a few yards from Gloucester Cathedral (see map). We specialise in high quality Belgian chocolates and truffles, manufactured by several different companies, so we can pick and choose individual chocolates to make up our range. Our fudges are all made on the premises - in fact, the fudge kettle is at the front of our shop so that passers-by and customers can watch the fudge being made. We also have a carefully chosen range of chocolate bars, preserves and specialty sweets.
Pilgrims is on the route followed by pilgrims to the shrine of Edward II of England, one time patron saint of England, who was buried in the cathedral.
Gloucester Cathedral was also one of the main locations for filming Harry Potter and the Philosophers's Stone, and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets!
In fact we have two shops in the court which is a busy pedestrian thoroughfare through to Gloucester Cathedral. In the summer, thousands of tourists visit us and the Beatrix Potter Museum, which is a couple of doors further down.
